Outside film work, I like being involved in projects that foster community, create agency, and build the world we want to live in. Here are some of these projects.
LAREDO FILM SOCIETY (2018-2024)
Co-founder
laredofilm.org
Laredo's first organization dedicated to creating a filmmaking culture along the South Texas border. I served as a director on its board from 2018 to 2024.
A STRAIGHT SHOT INTO MEXICO (2018)
Writer, editor
A short documentary chronicling the historic loss of urban life for the creation of the highway, and celebrating a group of advocates working to repair the damage.
